Driver Pay/Benefits Information
- All payroll “checks” will be issued by direct deposit only on every other Friday(biweekly)

* Driving experience is defined as verifiable experience in tractor/semi-trailer combination vehicles.
- Short mileage loads (less than 86 miles) will be paid on a flat rate.
- Drivers receive Tarp Pay, Strapping Pay, Stop-off Pay, and demurrage.
- Riding time for new employees/trainees: $85.00 per day.
- Driver trainers: $50.00 per day plus regular mileage pay.
- Once hired, employees are listed as probationary status for the first 90 days of employment.
- A Safety Pay Incentive Program is in effect for those drivers eligible, and is as follows:

- Safety/Performance pay will be paid on a quarterly basis in the month following each quarter (paid April, July, October, & January). The quarterly payment will be made less any reduction or suspension for disciplinary action during the period.
- Holiday Pay -
Nine (9) paid holidays at $50.00 per designated holiday.

- Uniform Program - Uniforms will be provided to all drivers at no cost. The driver will have the option of wearing uniform pants or his/her own blue jeans. A uniform shirt will be worn at all times while operating company equipment.
- Driver's License Requirements- Each employee that is classified as a Professional Driver shall possess a valid Class A CDL with Tank & Haz/Mat endorsements. Once hired, each Professional Driver shall be responsible for the purchase and renewal of his/her driver’s license with the exception of the cost for the Haz/Mat fingerprinting and background check for which the driver will be reimbursed upon completion of the license renewal process.
- Company Cell Phone- Each Professional Driver will be issued a company cell phone at no cost when he/she is assigned a unit. These phones are restricted to calls from and to the company. If a Driver offers to use his personal cell phone instead of a company phone, he will be reimbursed $20.00 per month.
- DOT-Required Medical Examinations- Those employees who are required by the Company to have a valid CDL license must also have periodic physical examinations which are mandated by the DOT. In those cases where required, the Company will bear all expenses associated with the initial and periodic physical exams. However, should those exams reveal any other physical limitations or problems, those maladies shall be addressed by the Group Health Care Program.
